Necklace 2013/2017
The necklace on the left is made from sterling silver that has been pushed past it’s on capacity to hold together. The metal fractures and splits. Referencing the Joseph Bueys myth that he was wrapped in wool to heal after he was shot down during WWII, the necklace on the right encases the fractured and split pieces in merino wool felt in order to promote healing.
