The Order of Beauty drawings reference Islamic designs and patterns. Each drawing begins with the same basic pattern of interlaced circles laid out in Order of Beauty No. 1. This pattern, if further developed, called the Breath of the Compassionate refers to teachings on “the Divine Breath” as the basis of all creation. The 24k gold patterns emerge from an extensive yet hidden network of circles and lines.
